About the Role
Seeking Qualified Carpenters with commercial, domestic and/ or mining experience to work in our team for a variety of local Karratha project works.
This position is casual with the possibility of becoming permanent full-time at the end of the 3 month probationary period.
In addition, you will;
- Be a motivated and confident self-starter with the ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
- Understand and comprehend drawings.
- Uphold a high quality of workmanship.
- Have meticulous attention to detail.
- Undertake all aspects of carpentry including maintenance, refurbishments and repairs.
- Have the ability to problem solve and plan ahead.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be punctual, reliable and presentable.
- Accept regular after hours scheduled and non-scheduled work.
- Willing to be included in call-out roster.
Skills and Experience – Mandatory
- Carpentry Trade Certificate
- SAT (White) Card
- Current manual drivers licence
- Police Clearance certificate
- Pre-Employment D&A
- Have own tools
Desirable
- Prefer minimum 3 years post apprenticeship
- Previous mine site experience
- Working at Heights Qualification
- High Risk Work Licences – LF and WP advantageous
- SAP Number

- Excellent flat hourly rate dependent on experience with superannuation paid on all hours worked.

Storeman
Residential role in Karratha (Not FIFO)

About the Role
Seeking an experienced Storeman to work in our team and be responsible for the maintenance and security of KCPL assets, plant, tools and equipment.
This includes:
- Receiving goods in and organise deliveries to site.
- Maintaining the KCPL yard, storage and workshop to ensure it is clean, tidy and identify any risks.
- Co-ordinating rubbish bins to be emptied.
- Ensuring all vehicle pre-starts are completed and advise of any maintenance required to General Manager.
- Assisting with vehicle service bookings and pickup/delivery of vehicles.
- Ensuring First Aid kits are restocked monthly.
- Organising quarterly test and tag, tool calibrations and harness and ladder inspections.
- Daily data entry on Aroflo CRM System for Purchase Orders and works completed, photos and notes for invoicing purposes.
- Ensuring adequate stock levels of consumables and PPE are maintained.
- Assist new staff with Yard Inductions.
In addition, you will;
- Be a motivated and confident self-starter with the ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
- Uphold a high quality of workmanship and safety using all company machinery and assets.
- Have meticulous attention to detail.
- Have the ability to problem solve and plan ahead.
- Experience with manual handling and ability to load and unload deliveries.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Be punctual, reliable, and presentable.
- Comply with OH&S Act, Regulations and Guidelines.

- Current MR drivers licence
- SAT (White) Card
- Police Clearance certificate

- Forklift Licence
Desirable
